Swiftsure Round-Up: Looking back at the Cowboy Ball

Wow, we’re already weeks past the 29th annual Cowboy Ball, and we’re already talking about 2021 and the 30th annual Cowboy Ball. While this year was much different from years past, we still had a great time and hope that all of you could dust off those boots and dance like nobody was watching!

Thanks to your generosity, we made the Swiftsure Derby’s goal, and that total was rolled into the funds raised at Cowboy Ball. We went into the event with a lofty goal, and when we decided to go virtual, we did not decrease that goal!

We’re very excited to report that the 29th annual Cowboy Ball met its fundraising goal of $325,000. The money raised from the Cowboy Ball ensures we can empower individuals of all abilities to gain strength and freedom through therapeutic equine connections — all at zero cost to our participants.

We want to extend a special thanks to Caroline Woodham for her vision and ability to share the Swiftsure story through the eyes of our participants. Caroline’s passion directed Dark to Light in capturing the essence of the impacts Swiftsure Ranch has on the lives of our participants, their families and our community. Lastly, thank you to our title sponsor DL Evans Bank, those businesses that donated to our raffles and congratulations to our raffle winners!

There is still time to make your impact. You can donate to the 2020 Cowboy Ball by clicking here.
