As the year draws to a close, we’re beyond excited to make a special announcement. We’ve kept this incredible news under wraps (holiday pun intended) until we were sure it was actually happening… which it is.

Swiftsure will soon be welcoming a new Executive Director to the ranch… and not just any Executive Director. For over a decade, Mary Mitten has been leading the longest-running and largest PATH-certified equine therapy facility in Minnesota. She brings to Swiftsure proven leadership and management, with a stable, gentle energy that we’re confident is a perfect match for our deserving staff and hard-working therapy herd. We can’t wait for you to meet her.

The addition of Mary is a fitting encore to an already transformative year for Swiftsure, with a wildly successful Cowboy Ball, valuable additions to our herd, an amazing new Ranch Manager, and the continued dedication of our staff and volunteers. Simply put, both the program and the facility are in beautiful shape.
