National Volunteer Week (April 22 – 25, 2013) is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to their nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals. National volunteer week is about taking action and encouraging individuals to be at the center of social change – discovering and actively demonstrating their collective power to foster positive transformation. The service provided at Swiftsure Ranch would not be possible without the countless hours from our amazing volunteers! Our volunteers facilitate positive transformation in our riders on a daily basis, and the smiles on our riders’ faces say it all… Thank you, volunteers, for inspiring joy, hope and courage in all of us!
Mary Jo Woods and Joe McDonald have volunteered 165 and 162 hours respectively in the past six months. They have earned their Gold Volunteer status and on April 22, 2013 were awarded vests in recognition of all their hard work! Thank you for going above and beyond!
