Teresa, known to most as “Tree”, started as a volunteer in 1999 with our therapeutic program. In 2016, she became an instructor-assistant and has since started on the PATH to becoming a certified instructor.
Prior to moving to Idaho in 1990, Tree grew up riding horses with her family and showing American Saddlebred horses. Her love for horses extended to her daughter and together they have spent many hours showing, rodeoing and riding cutting horses. Now that her daughter is an adult, Tree has started to train for cutting competitions so she can compete herself. Tree continues to be a 4-H Leader and is an inspiration to many youth in our valley.
Tree is the ultimate volunteer and there aren’t many organizations she hasn’t given her time too, including American Cancer Society, Red Cross, Sawtooth Rangers, Wood River Extreme Ski-joring Association and 4-H organizations.
In her spare time Tree enjoys her beach time and annually loves attending the Mountain Home Country Music Festival as well as the Pendleton Round Up.
