On-Site Registered Instructor Certification October 13 & 14, 2017

The 3 day workshop will cover topics including:
Disabilities • Teaching Techniques
Task Analysis • Class Structure
• Lesson Plans • Horse Analysis • Equipment
Mounting & Dismounting • Volunteer Management

This workshop is open to anyone who wants to learn more about therapeutic riding, is considering becoming a PATH Intl. Instructor, or who would like to improve their therapeutic riding instruction skills. The workshop is also useful for individuals seeking to learn more about the field but who are not yet ready to complete the certification process.

Certification is offered to individuals who have completed Phase One of the Instructor Certification process & 25 hours of teaching mounted instruction to individuals with disabilities.

Registration Deadline: Friday, September 8th
3-Day Workshop AUDIT Fee: $125
3-Day Workshop ONLY Fee: $450
1.5-Day Certification ONLY** Fee: $250
4-Day BOTH Workshop & Certification Fee: $650

** Must have proof of attending a PATH Intl. Registered Instructor Workshop within the previous two (2) years or provide Registered Certification resubmission letter.

If you are interested in attending the Registered Instructor On-Site Workshop and/or Certification, please contact Lindsey Jameson (lindsey@swiftsureranch.org) at Swiftsure Ranch FIRST. If space is available, complete the attached registration form and mail or email with appropriate fees to the address listed. Please also include a copy of your of IT status letter from Phase I if registering for Certification.

Candidates are registered on a first come-first served basis, so make sure to register early. All Certification Candidates must register 30 days prior to the Registered Certification.
Once registered for the workshop and/or certification, you will receive either a Phase II Packet OR workshop only forms.

Please complete all forms and return them to the Swiftsure Ranch office no later than 14 days prior to the start of the PATH Intl. OSWC. (September 27th).

Incomplete packets will not be accepted. You may be charged a $75 fee by Swiftsure Ranch for any late packets. Professionalism is expected!
