Hugh began his involvement with therapeutic riding in 1998 when he was introduced to Wendy Collins, an instructor at the Sagebrush Equine Training Center for the Handicapped (SETCH). In January 2009 he became a PATH Intl. Registered Instructor and in May 2011 he completed the PATH Intl. Mentor Training Workshop. In March of 2015, Hugh became a PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning. Hugh spends three days a week teaching therapeutic riding to a broad cross-section of riders at our new home at Swiftsure Ranch. He feels very fortunate to be a part of the bond that develops between his riders and their amazing equine partners.
