We may be a little biased, but we feel we have a VERY dedicated donor base, and we are so thankful for that! From financial backing to product and time donations, we have the right people in our arena (see what we did there, ha). We want to give a special thank you to a few local companies and people who have recently impacted our organization.
First, thank you to our friends at First Lite who donated muck boots to our crew. The ranch hands and crew are already putting these boots to the test! They’re warm, durable, and perfect for life here at the ranch. If you’re new to the First Lite name, these guys have created an industry-leading camo brand and apparel for both men and women. Founded in Sun Valley, they understand the value of nonprofits in the valley.
Next, we’d like to extend a big thank you to our friends at the new Sun Valley Saddlery for the donation of new helmets for our participants. Sun Valley Saddlery is a new local saddlery on Main Street in Hailey with a focus in boutique tack and equestrian apparel. They carry a carefully selected collection of products designed to meet the needs (and wants!) of hunter, jumper, equitation, dressage, and event riders and their horses, as well as casual equestrian enthusiasts. We’re proud to have a great saddlery right down the road from us!
Finally, we’d like to thank Adrienne Hendricks, an apprentice saddle maker with ties to the Wood River Valley. Raised in Boise, she spends weeks in Sun Valley each year skiing and enjoys the area’s outdoor adventures. Adrienne has been working with us and Johnathan, our ranch hand, to create equestrian saddles adaptable for our participants. We recently had a great conversation with Adrienne to learn more about her process, what she is doing for our program, and how she’s working alongside Johnathon to create an innovative saddle. See here for a full recap of our conversation with Adrienne.
The list doesn’t stop there! There are many other organizations and individuals in the valley that give so freely to Swiftsure every year, and we thank you for that!
