How is Swiftsure funded?
Swiftsure programs are made available by the generosity of individuals and foundations. More than half of the operating expenses are derived from the “Cowboy Ball” Benefit Dinner/Dance held in July. The balance of funds are from grants and individuals. Consider making a donation, great or small, to help us continue to provide our service free of charge!
How do I make a donation?
Click here and follow the directions on our donation page, or you may mail a donation to us at 114 Calypso Lane, Bellevue ID 83313. We will send you a tax deductible receipt.
If I want to visit, do I need to make an appointment?
YES! We do prefer that a site-visit is scheduled. Scheduling a site-visit allows us to arrange one of our staff members to be available to escort you safely around the property and answer all of your questions. We do require all visitors to check in at the main office so if you are just stopping by please check in with us.
Where can I get more information about starting a center or becoming a certified therapeutic riding instructor?
PATH Intl. sets the standards for safety and education in the equine-assisted activities and therapies industry. For more information visit their website www.pathintl.org.
